Provider integrations

Connect HubSpot to FastHook

Install FastHook in a HubSpot account with OAuth, select the CRM events you need, and route them to any FastHook Destination. Choose Any Event, Custom Webhook Events, or one of 41 individual event types.

This is a managed Provider Source. You do not create a generic webhook endpoint, copy a URL into HubSpot, or maintain a signing secret. FastHook manages the shared HubSpot app configuration and keeps each customer account isolated with encrypted OAuth credentials.

HubSpot delivers signed event batches to FastHook's managed provider endpoint. Each event is durably stored and routed only to matching Sources.

What FastHook manages automatically

  • OAuth installation, token refresh, revoke, and encrypted account credentials.
  • HubSpot webhook subscriptions for the selected CRM event types and properties.
  • V3 request-signature and timestamp validation before an event is accepted.
  • Exact raw-batch archival, event-level routing, deduplication, retries, and replay.

Create a HubSpot Provider Source

You need a FastHook account and permission to install apps in the HubSpot account you want to connect. A HubSpot administrator may need to approve the installation for managed accounts.

  1. Sign in to FastHook, open Sources, and select New source → Provider app → HubSpot.
  2. Choose Any Event, Custom Webhook Events, or an individual HubSpot event type.
  3. Select Connect new HubSpot account, choose the HubSpot account, review the requested permissions, and approve the connection.
  4. For property-change events, enter the exact HubSpot property names you want to receive.
  5. Name the Source and create it. Its status should show Active.
  6. Create a FastHook Connection from the Source to any Destination that should receive its events.

Event selection

  • Any Event receives every supported HubSpot event for the connected account.
  • Custom Webhook Events combines several event types in one Source.
  • Individual Sources keep workflows narrow when one event should feed one downstream flow.
  • Property-change Sources subscribe only to the property names entered in Source settings.

Use and monitor the integration

  1. Open the HubSpot Source from the FastHook Sources page.
  2. Select View event processing to inspect received, emitted, and failed events.
  3. Open a processed event to inspect its type, timestamps, payload, and delivery evidence.
  4. Use Connections to route matching events, apply filters or transformations, and configure retries.

Data accessed and shared

FastHook requests only the HubSpot permissions needed for the event categories supported by the Source. The exact data received depends on the Source type and the events produced by the connected HubSpot account.

  • Account and installation data:HubSpot account identifiers, the installing user's account context, granted scopes, and OAuth credentials are used to associate and operate the connection.
  • CRM event data: object identifiers, event types, timestamps, changed property names and values, and association details may be received for selected contacts, companies, deals, tickets, products, and line items events.
  • Conversation event data: conversation identifiers, messages, and related metadata may be received only when a conversation Source type is selected.
  • FastHook destinations: event data is sent only to Destinations the FastHook user connects to the Source. FastHook does not sell HubSpot data or use it for advertising.

Disconnect or uninstall

  1. In FastHook, open the HubSpot Source, select Edit, and choose Revoke to invalidate the stored HubSpot authorization. Delete the Source if you no longer need its configuration.
  2. In HubSpot, open Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps, select FastHook, and uninstall the app to revoke it directly from HubSpot.
  3. Revoking or uninstalling stops future HubSpot events. Previously processed FastHook events remain subject to the configured FastHook retention period. Contact support@fasthook.io for an account-data deletion request.
