Record Created
Emit an event when Airtable reports record.created.
Ready-made Workflow
Send a plain-text Microsoft Outlook email whenever a new Airtable record is created. Connect Airtable and Microsoft 365, browse to the source base, and enter the recipient address that should receive the alert. The email includes the record ID, base and table IDs, creation timestamp and a direct Airtable link. It does not copy cell values, attachments or private notes, so the recipient can open the source record only if they already have Airtable access. Only record.created events received after the workflow is activated are processed; existing records, edits and deletions are excluded. Records created through the Airtable app, forms, API or automations are eligible. Includes a fictional English onboarding request with German characters. The message is saved to Outlook Sent Items, and manual reruns or provider retries may send another email.
