Announce Google Calendar event changes in Slack

Tell your team when an existing Google Calendar event changes, including a revised meeting title or schedule. Each plain-text Slack notification includes the latest title, start, end, event ID, update timestamp and calendar link. Connect Google Calendar and Slack, browse to the calendar you want to watch and choose a channel where FastHook can post. The primary calendar is preselected and can be changed. Includes its own fictional Würzburg planning example. The first poll establishes a baseline without announcing history. Edit existing events after that baseline; recently created events within the two-minute overlap window are treated as new and excluded, so allow new events to settle before editing them. New events and cancellations do not trigger this template. Timed events retain timestamp offsets; all-day events use dates with an exclusive end date. Notifications contain the latest event snapshot, not a before-and-after comparison, and multiple changes between polls may be combined. Other Calendar changes can also produce a notification even when the displayed title and times are unchanged. Earlier Slack messages are not updated. Descriptions, attendees and attachments are not copied; link previews and Slack formatting are disabled. Channel members can see the displayed event details, while opening the calendar link still requires calendar access. Manual reruns or uncertain provider retries may duplicate notifications.
