New PDF in Google Drive
Emit newly created files in the selected Google Drive folder. Direct children only; existing files moved into the folder are not new files.
Ready-made Workflow
Upload a new PDF to your chosen Google Drive folder. FastHook reads embedded text, uses GPT-6.1 Sol OCR when needed, and saves one row per document in a Google spreadsheet created once for this workflow: file ID, name, Drive link, page count, review flag and extracted text. Connect Google Drive, Google Sheets and your OpenAI account, then choose the source folder before activating. Upload new files after activation; direct children only. Non-PDF files are ignored. Auto mode uses OCR on pages with little or damaged text; choose OCR mode for mixed pages or drawings with an unreliable text layer. Review unclear text before using it. Limits: 4 MiB, 10 pages per PDF and 50,000 characters per Sheets cell. Your AI provider bills OCR; native extraction needs no model call. The template starts inactive and contains no private accounts or folder IDs.
What gets copied
FastHook recreates every Step, route, field mapping, and setting with new IDs in your workspace.
Emit newly created files in the selected Google Drive folder. Direct children only; existing files moved into the folder are not new files.
Continue only when the configured conditions match the incoming record.
Download a binary Drive file as inline Base64 URL data or a secure stored-file reference.
Extract PDF text by page, using OCR when needed. Connect your own AI account for OCR.
Automatically create one spreadsheet with column headers for this workflow, then reuse it for every event. No existing spreadsheet is needed. Changing creation settings after the first run requires a new creation step.
Append one or more rows after an existing table.

Google Drive · Google Sheets
Keep a searchable file register in Google Sheets when new files are created in Google Drive. Each file adds one row with File ID, File name, MIME type, Created and Drive URL. Uses Append Values to write these five values in columns A-E in that order. Column headers are optional: an empty worksheet works immediately, or you can add your own header row. Connect Google Drive and Google Sheets, choose a folder to watch, and select the destination spreadsheet and worksheet. Leaving the folder empty watches the connected Drive. Includes its own fictional English file example. Values are written as plain text; file contents and permissions are never copied or changed. A Drive link still requires existing access. Folder monitoring covers direct children only and uses creation time: moving an older file into the folder may not trigger a row. Polling can include files from roughly the minute before setup; older files, later edits and deletions are not synchronized. Use a private worksheet for the file metadata. This is an append-only register, not a live inventory mirror.
