Ready-made Workflow

Create Asana tasks from new Google Sheets rows

Turn each newly appended spreadsheet row into an Asana task. Prepare TaskName and Description headers in row 1, connect Google Sheets and Asana, browse to the source spreadsheet and worksheet, and select an Asana workspace and optionally a project. The prepared mappings copy the task title and plain-text description, including line breaks and German characters. A Filter skips rows without a task name; the description may be empty. Use this for a project intake list, workshop preparation or an internal task backlog. Activate and let the first poll establish a baseline before appending complete rows. Existing rows and later edits are not imported or synchronized. Skipped rows are not queued; append a new complete row instead. Keep headers stable and do not delete or reorder rows while active. Tasks have no assignee, due date or custom fields unless you configure these optional inputs. Without a project selection, the task is created in the selected workspace. Includes a fictional English example. Test with a dedicated worksheet and project first. Manual reruns and ambiguous provider failures can create another task; this is a one-way task creation workflow, not a two-way synchronization.
