Ready-made Workflow

Add new Mailchimp subscribers to Sendy

Add subscribers to a Sendy list when they subscribe to your Mailchimp audience. Connect both accounts, choose the Mailchimp audience and enter the destination Sendy List ID. Email and first name (when present) are mapped automatically. Only events received after activation are processed; existing contacts are not imported. A later Mailchimp resubscription can subscribe the same address again. This is one-way synchronization; use the companion unsubscribe template with the same audience and Sendy list to propagate opt-outs. Sendy double opt-in is respected by default; this template does not assert GDPR consent or send campaigns. Sendy may send confirmation or welcome emails according to the destination list settings. For a test without emails, use a dedicated single-opt-in list with welcome emails and automations disabled. The sample is fictional.

Sync Mailchimp unsubscribes to Sendy

Unsubscribe an address from a Sendy list when it unsubscribes from your Mailchimp audience. Connect both accounts, choose the Mailchimp audience and enter the same Sendy List ID used by your subscriber-sync workflow. Email is mapped automatically. Only unsubscribe events received after activation are processed; historical opt-outs are not imported. This is one-way synchronization: it does not unsubscribe people in Mailchimp, delete contacts, or process cleaned, profile-update or email-change events. If an address is absent from the selected Sendy list, Sendy can return a subscriber-not-found error; the workflow does not create a subscriber. No campaign is sent. Disable any Sendy unsubscribe notification or automation for tests without emails. The sample is fictional.
