Ready-made Workflow

Send new Microsoft Outlook emails to Slack

Notify a Slack channel when a new email arrives in the connected Microsoft Outlook inbox. Connect Microsoft 365 and Slack, then browse to the channel used for inbox alerts. Each plain-text message includes the sender name and address, subject, received time, importance and a link to open the email in Outlook. Includes its own fictional Berlin customer-escalation example with German characters. The trigger uses a managed Microsoft Graph subscription and starts with new inbox messages after activation; it does not import older mail. Email bodies, previews, attachments, recipients, conversation history and account identifiers are not copied into Slack. Link and media previews are disabled. Microsoft Graph notifications can be retried, so a provider replay may post another notification. This template only reports new messages and does not reply, forward, move, mark, or delete email.
