Ready-made Workflow
Send a Slack notification when a new lead is created in Salesforce. Connect Salesforce and Slack, then choose the destination channel. The polling trigger watches Lead records accessible to the connected Salesforce user. Each plain-text message includes the lead name, company, status, record ID and creation time. Wait for Connected and the initial polling baseline before creating a test lead. Existing leads are not backfilled; edits, conversions and deleted leads do not create another new-lead notification. Polling introduces a delay before delivery. The example contains fictional German business data. Email addresses, phone numbers, notes and custom fields are not included in the Slack message. Lead details become visible to members of the selected channel. Link and media previews are disabled. Manual reruns can create duplicate messages; this workflow sends alerts rather than synchronizing CRM records.
