New Keyword Mention
Emit an event when a message contains one of the configured keywords or phrases.
Ready-made Workflow
Send Slack messages marked [Announcement] to a chosen Discord text channel. Keep a community informed without forwarding every team conversation. Connect Slack and Discord, choose the source Slack channel and browse to the destination Discord channel. The prefilled [Announcement] keyword matches anywhere, without case sensitivity, and bot messages are ignored. Matching human thread replies are also forwarded; edits and deletions are excluded. Only new matching events after activation are processed. Add FastHook to the Slack source channel before activating; leaving Channels empty watches all accessible channels. The Discord bot needs access to the destination channel and permission to send messages. The message text is copied as supplied, without converting Slack mentions or formatting. Messages longer than Discord’s 2,000-character limit are truncated; keep announcements short to preserve the complete text. User, role and everyone mentions are disabled. No files or thread history are copied, and messages are not synchronized back to Slack. Forwarded text is visible to destination channel members. Includes its own fictional English Hamburg announcement with German characters. Manual reruns can create duplicate messages.
