Create Google Calendar events from marked Slack messages

Turn selected Slack messages into Google Calendar events by adding [Event] to an English scheduling description. Use this to save planning sessions mentioned in a team channel without copying them into Calendar by hand. Connect Slack, choose source channels through Browse, connect Google Calendar and select a writable calendar through the standard browser. The [Event] keyword is prefilled, matched anywhere without case sensitivity, and bot messages are ignored. Google Quick Add parses the complete message for its title, date and time. Write an explicit date and time range, for example: [Event] Erlangen planning — Grüße on September 19, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Includes its own fictional scheduling example with German Unicode. Google may retain or normalize the marker and other punctuation in the parsed event title. Times without a timezone use the selected calendar's timezone; ambiguous or missing dates and times may produce an unintended schedule. Review the created event before using this for real meetings. Add FastHook to the source channel before activation. Leaving Channels empty watches every channel accessible to the Slack connection; matching human thread replies also create events. Only new matching messages are processed, not history, edits or deletions. Files, attachments and surrounding thread history are not copied. No attendees or invitation updates are configured, and Calendar defaults such as reminders still apply. This creates a calendar entry, not a synchronized meeting: no availability check, conferencing link or later update is provided. Manual reruns or ambiguous provider retries may create duplicate events. Use a dedicated test calendar for the first run.
