Ready-made Workflow

Notify Slack about new ClickUp tasks

Notify a Slack channel whenever a new ClickUp task is created in one of the selected Workspaces. Connect ClickUp and Slack, select one or more source Workspaces with the standard browser, then choose the Slack channel used for task alerts. ClickUp webhook events contain task identifiers rather than a complete task, so FastHook retrieves the current task before sending the notification. Each plain-text message includes the task name, status, creator, List and direct ClickUp URL. The fictional example uses German characters and contains no real customer data. Only taskCreated events received after activation are processed; existing tasks, later edits, status changes, comments and deletions are excluded. The ClickUp connection must be able to read the created task. A task deleted immediately after creation or hidden from the connected user can make the lookup fail and prevent the Slack message. Task descriptions, Custom Fields, assignees, attachments, comments and private content are not copied. Task names and metadata become visible to members of the selected Slack channel, who still need ClickUp permission to open the source link. Link and media previews are disabled. Provider retries or manual reruns may post a duplicate notification.
