Ready-made Workflow
Add export-markdown to a ClickUp task to save its description, comments and threaded replies as a .md file in Google Drive, with authors, UTC dates and attachment links. Connect both accounts, choose the ClickUp Workspace and an optional Drive folder (otherwise My Drive). Activate, then add the tag; remove and re-add it for another snapshot. Verified on a real task with 27 comments and one threaded reply, including pagination. No AI required. Native task Markdown is preserved; comment rich formatting may differ. Attachment files are not downloaded. Each export creates a new file; reruns can create duplicates. Folder permissions apply. For small tasks: Drive text files are limited to 20,000 characters; export also stops at 1,000 comments/replies or 60 API requests. Provider/limit errors stop the export without saving a partial file.
