Create Item
Receive monday.com create_item events from selected boards.
Ready-made Workflow
Notify a Slack channel whenever a new item is created on selected monday.com boards. Connect monday.com and Slack, choose one to five boards with the standard board browser, then browse to the Slack channel that should receive the alert. Each message includes the item name, item ID, board ID, group name, creator ID and webhook time. Includes its own fictional Berlin product-launch example with German characters. The trigger listens for monday.com create_item events after the workflow is activated; it does not import existing items. Column values, files, updates, private board data and user profiles are not copied into Slack. The message uses plain text with link and media previews disabled. monday.com may omit optional group details, and the creator is shown as an ID because the webhook does not guarantee a user name. Creating one item should produce one alert, but manual webhook replays can post another message. This template is a team notification, not a two-way board sync.
