Connect Microsoft 365 to FastHook

Authorize a personal, work, or school Microsoft account once, then create focused Sources for Outlook Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and OneDrive—or combine several event types in one Custom Microsoft 365 Source.

Choose a Microsoft app

The apps are separate in the Source catalog, but they share one encrypted Microsoft account connection. Connecting another Source does not require a separate Entra application.

Create a Microsoft Provider Source

  1. Open Sources → New source → Provider app.
  2. Choose Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Contacts, OneDrive, or advanced Microsoft 365.
  3. Select Connect new Microsoft 365 account and approve the read-only permissions shown by Microsoft.
  4. Optionally filter OneDrive paths or extensions, save the Source, and connect Destinations.

Supported events

  • Outlook Inbox message created, updated, and deleted.
  • Outlook calendar event created, updated, and deleted.
  • Personal contact created, updated, and deleted.
  • OneDrive file, folder, deletion, and other item changes.
  • Any Event and Custom Events Sources for multi-event routing.

Reliable by design

  • Graph validation tokens and per-account HMAC client state are verified.
  • The exact callback is persisted in R2 before FastHook acknowledges Microsoft.
  • Outlook, Calendar, and Contacts changes are expanded to full Graph resources asynchronously.
  • OneDrive uses a durable delta cursor so batched changes are not lost.
  • Subscriptions are renewed before expiration and lifecycle failures are reconciled automatically.
  • OAuth credentials and rotated refresh tokens are encrypted at rest.

Permissions and disconnect

FastHook requests only the read scope required by the Source types you select. Revoke an account from the Source editor or account settings to remove its subscriptions and encrypted credentials.
