Provider integrations

Connect Microsoft OneDrive to FastHook

Authorize a personal, work, or school Microsoft account and route real-time OneDrive changes to any Destination. Use Any OneDrive Change, Custom OneDrive Changes, or a focused Source.

Microsoft Graph notifications are lightweight change signals. FastHook verifies each subscription's client state, durably queues the signal, then follows the Graph delta cursor to collect the exact changed items.

Create a Microsoft OneDrive Provider Source

  1. Open Sources → New source → Provider app → Microsoft OneDrive.
  2. Choose Any Change, Custom Changes, or an individual change type.
  3. Select Connect new Microsoft OneDrive account and approve read-only access.
  4. Optionally filter by path prefixes or file extensions, then connect Destinations.

Supported changes

  • File Added or Updated for changed files.
  • Folder Added or Updated for changed folders.
  • Item Deleted for deleted files, folders, and other items.
  • Other Item Added or Updated for packages such as OneNote notebooks.
  • Custom OneDrive Changes combines several change types in one Source.

The Graph delta feed reports the latest state of each changed item and does not reliably distinguish every create from every update. FastHook exposes an honest Added or Updated model instead of inventing a distinction.

Reliability and security

  • Webhook validation tokens are returned as required by Microsoft Graph.
  • Every notification is authenticated with a per-account HMAC client state before processing.
  • Graph subscriptions are renewed before expiration and stale subscriptions are removed.
  • Delta checkpoints advance only after matching events are durably stored and queued.
  • OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest; FastHook requests read-only file access.
  • Duplicate notifications and retries are deduplicated before downstream delivery.

Disconnect

Revoke the Microsoft account from the Source editor or FastHook account settings. Related Sources stop receiving new changes, and their Graph subscriptions are removed or allowed to expire.
