Connect your account

Connect each customer's Zoom account through OAuth. FastHook encrypts the access and refresh tokens and renews access automatically.

  1. Open Sources, choose New source, then Provider app and Zoom.
  2. Connect your Zoom account and approve access.
  3. Select your Zoom user and the events to receive, then save the Source.
  4. Add Zoom Actions to a Workflow, map the input fields, test it, and activate it.

Working with Zoom

Choose the connected Zoom user for each Source. FastHook manages the matching Zoom event subscription and removes it when the Source is no longer active.

FastHook verifies Zoom's timestamped HMAC signature and a subscription-specific secret header before accepting a webhook, then deduplicates deliveries by Zoom request ID.

Meeting and registration features depend on the connected user's Zoom plan and account settings.

Custom API Request is restricted to the Zoom API host and cannot override the Authorization header.

Action schemas are extracted from Zoom's official API Hub OpenAPI document. Webhook schemas preserve additional event-specific fields from Zoom.

Disconnect or remove FastHook

  1. Pause or delete active FastHook Workflows that use a Zoom Trigger. FastHook then removes the matching Zoom event subscriptions.
  2. Open FastHook Settings, choose Connected accounts, and disconnect the Zoom account to revoke its saved OAuth connection.
  3. To remove the Zoom Marketplace installation too, open Zoom App Marketplace, choose Manage, then Added Apps, select FastHook, and choose Remove.

After removal, Zoom stops sending new events and Zoom Actions can no longer run for that account. Existing FastHook audit records follow the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
