Connect Notion to FastHook

Authorize a Notion workspace, select the pages and databases FastHook may access, and route real-time changes to any Destination. Use Any Notion Event, Custom Webhook Events, or one of 31 individual event types.

This is a managed Provider Source. FastHook's public Notion Connection receives one shared webhook stream, verifies every raw-body HMAC signature, archives the exact payload, deduplicates retries, and isolates each event by the OAuth integration bot listed in Notion's accessible_by field.

Create a Notion Provider Source

  1. Open Sources → New source → Provider app → Notion.
  2. Choose Any Event, Custom Webhook Events, or an individual Notion event.
  3. Select Connect new Notion workspace and choose the pages FastHook may access.
  4. Create the Source and connect it to the Destinations that should receive its events.

Supported events

FastHook supports Notion's current public Connection webhook catalog: page, database, data source, comment, file upload, and view lifecycle events. That includes content and property updates, moves, deletion and restoration, schema changes, uploads, and comments.

  • Any Notion Event remains forward-compatible with future event types.
  • Custom Webhook Events combines several event types in one Source.
  • Individual event Sources keep downstream workflows narrowly scoped.

Notion webhook payloads are change notifications. A downstream workflow can use the connected Notion API account when it needs the latest complete page or database content.

Security and data control

  • OAuth credentials and the webhook verification token are encrypted at rest.
  • Each installation is isolated by its Notion integration bot ID, including installations in the same workspace.
  • Signatures are verified against the untouched request body before an event is accepted.
  • Only content explicitly shared with FastHook is accessible to the integration.
  • Event data goes only to Destinations connected to the matching Source.

Disconnect

Revoke the Notion account from the Source editor or FastHook account settings. You can also remove FastHook from Notion's Connections settings. Revocation disables related Sources and stops future delivery for that installation.
